A Year Of Blogging/ Top Ten July Favourites
I started my blog a year ago, I started it as a way to write about what I love and to express my opinions. Writing is a passion of mine and starting a blog seemed like the perfect way to start sharing my writing with others. At the moment my blog is small and doesn't have many readers but for those who do read, I would like to thank you for taking a chance with my blog and I hope you continue to read as I improve my writing and the blog!
So now I've finished being sentimental, I will share my 10 July favourites with you...
It was really difficult to pick 10 favourites but I thought I should narrow it down to a few rather than going overboard. (This isn't in an specific order.)
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer-
I'm a bit late with my love of this as quite a few people have loved it for years, but I decided I wanted one that might cover a little more for my prom. Now I use it everyday. It has a really good coverage, it is long lasting and it blends really well.
Babyliss Curling Wand Pro-
I got this curling wand for Christmas 2014, and I absolutely love it. My hair is extremely long so I do find it difficult to curl because of the weight. But using this to curl smaller sections of my hair, combined with a good hairspray actually works!
Pinita Colada Body Sorbet From The Body Shop-
I saw this in one of Zoella's videos last month and decided I really wanted it. It smells like summer, pineapple and coconut. It has a fresh, light feeling when you apply it and it moisturises your skin really well.
Beauty Formulas Cucumber 3 Minute Clay Mask-
It smells fresh and leaves your skin feeling really soft. It is perfect if you don't have a lot of time, I apply it 3 minutes before I get in the shower and wash it off in there.
essie Summer Nail Varnishes-
I got these for in a set at Christmas, I can't remember what the set was called but these are perfect summer colours. They aren't particulary strong and if you only have one layer they do tend to chip easily. However, you can easily build the layers.
Blue- 'Strut Your Stuff'
Orange- 'Roarrrrange'
Pink- 'Haute In The Heat'
Brown- 'Fierce, No Fear
Loreal Paris Colour Endure 608 Buff Naked-
This is a neutral brown, and an everyday colour for me. I quite like different types of nudes and neutral colours for summer. It lasts really well and it fits into my bag perfectly. You can wear it anywhere, it is the perfect colour for days out, dinners out, etc...
Rimmel London I Sweetie Heart Matte 002 Chase Me-
I love matte colours, especially nail varnishes and lipsticks. This is a soft, pastel duck egg blue and so pretty. It lasts really well, dries quite quickly and it builds layers well (you do need more than one coat).
Maybeline New York Master Ink-
This is a matte black liquid eye liner. It is easy to use, it dries quite quickly and it doesn't print or move during the day. It is matte so it doesn't dry shiny like other liquid eyeliners (I personally don't like the shiny quality) and it lasts all day!
Rimmel London Stay Matte 002 Pink Blossom-
This powder is the best I've ever used- you don't need too much to set your make up so it doesn't look cakey, it feels light on your skin so you really feel it and I love the smell. I use it on an everyday basis.
Show Premiere Finishing Spray-
I love this hairspray, it holds my curls really well and it has a pleasant smell. It doesn't cling your hair together to much and it does feel light.
Thank you for reading!
Love you all xoxo
