The Skincare Brand I Use The Most

Nivea has been the one constant brand in my collection ever since I started focusing on skincare. I have tried other brands and found some that I love- like Garnier- but I always go back to Nivea. Although Nivea soft is my favourite moisturiser, I enjoy their other products to.

My skin isn't necessarily sensitive, but it does react to some heavily perfumed products, I've found that Nivea's products are good for my skin because, although they smell nice, they don't have a particularly strong scent.

I was actually introduced to Nivea after my skin reacted to another product, though that might have been my own fault. When I first started moisturising properly, I didn't realise that I should use a moisturiser specifically for my face, and so I used a perfumed one that I had. Of course, not all moisturisers are just for your face and not everyone will react to perfumed moisturisers, but for me, it is best to use one that says it is for my face, like Nivea soft.

I started using the Nivea Daily Essentials 24 Hour Moisture and Express Primer Gel Cream about 6 months ago. I love the texture, it is so light-weight, I love how quickly is sinks in and I love how soft it leaves my skin feeling. I find that a little goes a long way with this product, so this pot lasts well. I usually apply this in the morning before I do my makeup.

I really like Nivea moisturisers and this is just another Nivea product that I would definitely purchase again.

I have tried a few different makeup removers and this Nivea 'MicellAIR' makeup remover has to be my favourite. I have tried other micellar waters and I can't say that I don't like them, but the gel-like texture of this one is something that I really like. I like that it easily removes my eye-makeup, and that if you do happen to get a little in your eye, it doesn't seem to sting.

As I've mentioned in past blog posts, Nivea soft is my all time favourite moisturiser. I have been repurchasing it for years and I don't think that I will stop anytime soon. Nivea soft is a face, body and hands moisturiser, but I tend to use it for my face most of the time. It feels light weight, you don't need to use much and it leaves my skin feeling extremely soft- all three of which I've noticed as common factors in Nivea moisturisers.

I also enjoy the Nivea lip balms and I've find that they work very well. They are good products to keep in your handbag, and I often use the original care lip balm while I'm doing my makeup to prepare my lips for lipstick.

I had been interested in buying the Nivea face masks for a while, and for Christmas I was bought this Nivea Daily Essentials 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask. This is the Pore Refine mask and it is self heating. I apply it before I get in the shower and I tend to use it twice a week. I think that it is a nice product for when you feel like your skin needs a little bit of extra care, but you don't have the time for a longer face mask.

So, this is my favourite skincare brand. I hope you enjoyed this blog post, and maybe found it helpful.

Do you have a favourite brand?

Love you all xoxo
