Haunting Violet Book Review
I brought this book a couple of weeks ago and I began reading it yesterday and I already LOVE it! It is called 'Haunting Violet' and it is by Alyxandra Harvey.
This book is set in the 1800's and chapter one gives us a brief introduction to our main character, Violet, who's mother tricks those who have experienced a loss into believing that she can contact spirits and pass messages in between the dead and the living. She's basically a medium!
Violet partakes in her mothers business but she wasn't expecting to begin to see and hear the dead in reality! She is haunted by a girl who won't leave her alone until the mystery of her murder is uncovered. Violet has to use her skill to solve the mystery before the killer strikes again!
I haven't actually finished the book so that third paragraph is purely based on what the blurb tells me! I hope that my brief description intrigues you as much as it did me!
I brought it from Waterstones, but I'm sure you can get it from other book shops, and it cost me £6.99! So far it is a truly fantastic read, so if you are in the need of a good book then here you go!!
