Cold
Unfortunatly.... I have recently been ill. For the past two weeks I have had a cold!! It is honestly awful, but colds are common along with flu, which I have personally never had but they are even worse!!!
I decided as I haven't posted a blog post in a while that I would share a few tips that I was given by the doctor today about preventing colds and help get rid of them-
1. Drink lots of fluids. Keeping hydrated is an important part of staying healthy anyway and another massive benefit is that it is good for your skin!!!
2. I was told to make sure I eat regulary and try to eat a balenced diet, which I do try to do... sometimes... kind of.... of maybe not completely balenced.
3. It has not been proven that getting wet and cold can make you ill. But if you already have the virus then it can trigger it... so when you walk to school or go out anywhere remember to keep warm!!
4. Make sure you take in plenty of vitamin c, and other nutrients!!!
5. You most likely do this anyway.... hopefully... but make sure to wash your hands and if you want to... like me... sanitize your hands after touching buttons, touching banisters and door handles!! That reminds me I need to get more hand sanitizer... I think I may have run out!!
