Hot Chocolate
Day 19 and I am feeling like I am getting the hang of posting everyday! Although you may not agree!
It's sad how close Christmas it. To be honest I prefer the build up the Christmas more than the day it's self. I live Christmas don't get me wrong, but the day goes by so fast and once it's gone everything seems boring once again! The build up is just so exciting and in yesterday's post I gave you a few ideas on what to do during this festive break!
Today I am going to share with you a few different ideas on making your hot chocolate festive and changing it if you just feel like something different.
Of course you can just stick with a plain hot chocolate or one with cream and marshmallows on top, but if you fancy something a little different then try some of these.
I have always loved making hot chocolate in a pan,
It's just something about it that makes me feel cozy and warm. So before making any of these hot chocolates warm the milk through in a pan.
Chocolate orange- if you watch zoellas videos, you may have seen her make this. If not, all you need is some terrys chocolate orange pieces. Once the milk is warm you put as many pieces of the chocolate in as you want and you have an orange hot chocolate decorated as you feel right!
Peppermint/mint- now I don't mind this but it isn't my favorite but two of my friends live this. One of them adds some areo pieces into the milk along with mint areo pieces. The other one adds galaxy chocolate the the milk and will them add some crushed mint crumbles to the hot chocolate- sometimes this is really bitty when you drink it which she loves and it is also too strong for me personally. They both decorate this with a cream, crushed candy canes and a festive straw.
Hazelnut- for this one I add some cadburys chocolate to the milk along with some Hazelnut chocolates or even praline chocolates. If you want this to be stronger then substitute the plain dairy milk for Hazelnut chocolates!
If you are going to Costa for some festive hot chocolates they have a fudge hot chocolate and a black forest hot chocolate which two of my friends tried yesterday!
If you have any hot chocolate favorites then let me know what they are and maybe I can try them!
Love you all xoxo
