A short overview of 2016 from my point of view!

I am extremely sorry for not posting a blog post in a while, but I've been quite but I've been busy and unwell recently!

This is just a short overview of 2016 through my eyes as my last blog post this year, there will hopefully be a better blog post in the next few days...

2016 has seen the deaths of some of our favourite, inspirational celebrities; such as David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Caroline Aherne, Carrie Fisher and many more.

It got to the point that my mum and uncle starting having a conversation about hiding David Attenborough because he is a 'national treasure' following something she had seen on Facebook.

There was the Orlando shooting and the shooting of Christina Grimmie. It has also seen the UK leave the EU and Donald Trump rise to power.

There has been some good points. There were some fantastic new films- such as Captain America Civil War, Fantastic Beasts and where to find them and Deadpool.

For me, apart from completing my GCSEs and getting good grades, starting college doing the A-Levels I wanted to do, turning 17, going to a tribute festival where I got my first taste of live music and getting two new baby cousins (who are adroable) my year hasn't really been any different to any of my other 17 years...

So overall 2016 has seen some ridiculous, stupid, heartbreaking and annoying things but it has also seen a few brilliant things. It's just like any other year really... just a bit more annoying.

I am looking forward to new films, TV series, music and experiences in 2017.

Hopefully 2017 is a bit better!

Love you all xoxo
