Empties

I've been wanting to do an 'empties' blog post for a while and since I haven't updated this blog in such a long time (I'm sorry) and I have just got my laptop back, it was about time. I quite like watching these because I feel like just because a product appeared to be fantastic within the first few uses, it doesn't mean your opinions stay the same.

These are completely honest reviews, and I may have loved these products to begin with- maybe even written about them in blog posts- but tastes change and the quality of the products may be different to when you start using it.

I've saved up a few products recently purely for the purpose of this, and these are my honest opinions on them.

I really like make up remover wipes because they are quick and easy. I do prefer to use a cream or liquid with a cotton pad but sometimes when I'm tired, which is quite often I just want something simple. These natura makeup remover wipes are quite good, they remove your makeup really well and they leave you feeling clean and refreshed but I don't think that they are the best for quality. They came in a pack of three for a pound, so they were worth it in financially, but they tore quite easily and they weren't quite as moisturising as some makeup remover wipes. Maybe I'm just being picky. But due to their price I couldn't expect much more so I am pretty impressed.

I am a massive fan of the Garnier micellar water. It removes make up quickly and easily. It is quite refreshing. I find that on really hot days (which I don't get a lot of) if is quite nice to dab a little of this on my face to remove any sweat and to make me feel a bit cleaner.

The Collection Illuminating Touch foundation was the second foundation I used. I went from my first bottle of foundation (Rimmel) to BB cream, but recently I decided that I wanted to try foundation again so I picked up one from a cheaper brand. It was worth its money- it had a good coverage, it felt light on the skin and it blended really well. The only problem is that, looking back at some photos, it may have been to dark for my skin tone. At the time I felt that the one in the shade below it was too light but I did test it on the back of my hand... which I have since learnt is not the way to test foundation.

I originally loved the W7 Foxy Lashes mascara, I even wrote about it in a blog post, but after recently getting a higher end product I realise that it isn't the best. I would buy it again as it is affordable but it clumped my lashes together a bit, it wasn't easy to coat all my lashes and the formula wasn't the best. However it did last quite well and there was quite a lot in the tube.

The Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is the best concealer I have ever purchased. It has a really good coverage, it lasts for a long time and it blends really easily. It is really cheap but it is amazing!

My Body Shop Foundation was a present and it was perfect for my handbag. I tended to use it as something to top up my makeup with during the day if my skin was particularly bad because I felt that if I used it for my whole face it made me look a bit orange. I don't think I'd buy it again because I don't think I could afford it but it did have really good coverage and it blended really easily.

The Miss Sporty So Clear concealer was quite good for a stick concealer. I don't tend to get on with them very well. I am a big fan of Miss Sporty products but this one wasn't my favourite. It didn't always blend easily and sometimes it appeared a bit cakey but it had a good coverage, it lasted quite well and it was good to keep in my handbag.

The W7 Fixer makeup setting spray was amazing. I don't know how well it set my makeup and I tended to spray it on before eyeliner and mascara because it sometimes made them run, but it felt really refreshing. You can use it throughout the day and if you need to fix or adjust your make up. It worked quite well sprayed onto my beauty blender. I quite liked it light feeling and how quickly it dried.

Love you all xoxo
