Why I Love Lipstick...

In a recent blog post I discussed what makeup items I couldn't live without. Lipstick came up. I realised that there were more reasons to why I love lipstick, so I thought I'd share them with you!

I own quite a few lipsticks (the picture above doesn't even show half of the lip products I own). I have a range of colours, although I mostly seem to own red, and each fits for different occasions. I have pinks, browns, nudes, purples, reds and darker shades. I have lipsticks, lip crayons, lip pencils and lip gloss. I can have shiny, glittery or matt lip products. 

I love lipstick because....

It allows me to express what mood I am in.

I can colour coordinate with my outfit.

I can change the colour depending on where I am going and what events I could be attending.

I can buy a range of products because no two lipsticks are the same (or at least that's what I tell myself).

I can be completely abstract.

I can match my lipstick to different seasons.

I can match my lipstick to the weather.

It adds colour to my face.

It makes me happy.

I can match it to the rest of my makeup.

It is the only part of my makeup that I am always happy with.

It is the only part of my makeup that I feel is perfect every time.

And that is why I love lipstick!
