How I Deal With My Eyeliner Issues
Like most people, I tend to have bad days with my eyeliner... That actually happens quite a lot!
My eyeliner changes depending on the products or colours I use.
Pencil- I sometimes struggle to get a thin line of pencil eyeliner on my eyelid. To try to keep this neat I tend to have the pencil slightly sharper but not to the point where it scratches. If this doesn't work, I may blend my eyeliner into a slightly smokey effect.
Gel- Sometimes the brush provided with a pot of gel eyeliner doesn't work for me. In this case I tend to use either a short, thin bristled brush to get a thin line or a thin, slightly longer angled brush if I would like winged eyeliner.
Liquid- I use liquid to create winged eyeliner because I find that it had a solid colour and I am able to build it up. Struggle to keep this neat so before applying the liquid eyeliner I will outline my preferred shape with a felt-tip eyeliner before filling it in with the liquid.
Winged Eyeliner- I find that I am sometimes unable to keep my winged eyeliner neat, so I will use a bit of tape under where my eyeliner will go. I put on the tape before I apply my eye shadow and eyeliner- this creates a crisp, sharp line for both my eye shadow and eyeliner. I tend to do this if I don't have much time or I am going somewhere that calls for 'perfect' eyeliner. This keeps my eyeliner neat, extremely similar (if not completely matching) and it allows me to make a bit of a mess on one side without worrying about my makeup!
I hope you enjoyed!
Love you all xoxo
